You have unfinished tracks.
Probably a lot of them.

Not because you lack talent. Not because you lack ideas — you have too many of those. Because finishing is a different skill from starting, and nobody built a tool for it.

The average independent producer has 30–60 open projects. Some have hundreds. Most explain it the same way: I just need to find the right time. I’ll come back to it. It’s almost there.

It isn’t almost there. It’s in the graveyard. And you know it.

The problem isn’t motivation. It’s the pattern.

You don’t stall randomly. You stall in the same place, every time — and the place is specific to how your brain works. There are five distinct producer patterns, each with a different failure point in the cycle. This 2-minute quiz identifies yours.

Dropflo is a desktop app for Ableton producers.

The framework is Decide → Finish → Release — three phases, in that order, with no skipping and no going back.

  • Decide means committing to one track before opening new loops.
  • Finish means bounded passes with pre-written criteria for done — criteria you set before you’re too invested to think clearly.
  • Release means shipping what’s finished without reopening the creative session.

The system is the same for every producer. What’s different is where it applies pressure — because your failure point is not the same as someone else’s.

Our promise

Dropflo doesn’t promise you’ll make better music. It promises the music you make will exist.

The next track you take through this system will be finished and released. Not when it’s perfect — perfect is not a place. When the criteria you set for done are met, the track ships.

That’s it. One track. Released. Then you do it again.

Not sure where you stall?

Take the 2-minute quiz. It identifies which of the five patterns you’re in and tells you exactly where you break down in the cycle.

Dropflo is in early access. The app is built and running — we’re recruiting the first cohort of producers to put the system through its paces.
